In the Grooming Salon, the following information is stored in an online format and/or hard copy.

Any details you have given to Tidy Ted's Dog Grooming about yourself such as name, phone number, address and email addresses.

Any details you have given to Tidy Ted's Dog Grooming about your dog such as their name, age, gender, colour, breed etc.

Any details of what Tidy Ted's Dog Grooming has done to your dog as part of the grooming process such as blades and shampoo used, nails clipped etc and dates of visits.

Any traits of your dog such as sensitive feet.

Your dog's temperament in the salon - good, nervous, may bite etc.

Any medical issues that you make us aware of or we find as a result of the grooming process such as lumps and bumps. These details are kept in hard copy and are kept in a locked grooming room. 

Your details are entered into our database and stored in hard copy to enable Tidy Ted's Dog Grooming to contact you about appointments, to advise of updates during the grooming appointment, in case of emergency etc.

Your name and contact number along with your dogs name are also stored on the Love to Paws business phone (only for regular clients), again to enable us to contact you for the above reasons. No other details are held on the phone about you and the phone is kept safe and secured by the available security settings on the device.

You can also ask to view your online record at any time.

If you move away from the area, you are welcome to take your online record details with you to give it to your new groomer or you can destroy it.

Any non-returning customer files will be destroyed within 3 years of non-attendance at the Tidy Ted's Dog Grooming salon.

WEBSITE: You can browse and visit the Tidy Ted's Dog Grooming website without providing your name and contact details. Like many websites, our server logs capture details of your operating system and browser software, IP address, URL, including the date and time of your visit. We use cookies to analyse how our site is used by visitors. If you do not wish cookies to be saved to your system, you may change your browser settings.

You will provide your contact details if you submit an enquiry. We may use your personal information in the following way:

DATA PROTECTION - Tidy Ted's Dog Grooming keeps records of all dogs and their treatments. Client data will be treated in accordance to the data protection principles of the Data Protection Act and will not be shared with 3rd parties.

SLANDER: Under the malicious communications act 1998 section 1, Tidy Ted's Dog Grooming will not accept or tolerate any slander, malicious falsehood or defamation via social media outlets relating to a groom due to coats that have not been maintained at home (matted coat), or miscommunication
